On Friday the 26th we were invited to be the entertainment for the Pig-out Celebration to raise money for Special Olympics at the Mt. Sterling American Legion. The food was great, the crowds were huge that just kept rolling in. It was a great evening of food and fellowship.

On Saturday the 27th we took part in the annual pig roast at Ivory Hill Baptist in Irvine, KY. This was another great day of food and fellowship. We had the chance to see some old friends that we only get to see once a year. There were several groups performing besides us such as, The Trinity Heirs, One Accord, Johnson Mt. Boys, and also a special by Bro. Marvin Neal and our good friend Bill Kenyen.

On Tuesday September the 9^th we in a service like most have never experienced before. In Paris Kentucky there is a place called The Blue Grass Cowboy Church. Here you will find things that are not traditional as we know them. You are told to come as you are, join an evening of good music, good friends and God’s Word. Dewayne and Donna Waldrup host a service each Tuesday night at the Fairgrounds and you will see true life cowboys, herding dogs and be taken back in time to the days of “ home on the range”. The hot temperatures did not keep the crowd away this year at the annual Gospel in the Park. Raymond Parker who coordinates the event each year said that this was the largest crowd we have had since in started over 10 years ago. The crowd got to hear Country, Bluegrass and Southern Gospel. It was really nice to have the chance to hang out with our friends the Fisher Family and Heaven Bound. We were spiritually and physically feed at the Jeffersonville Church of God on Sunday August 17th.  After the singing and worship service, we were treated to some good ole home cooking. We want to thank the congregation for making us feel so welcomed. Thanks again to Brother and Sister Anderson for letting us be a part of this special day.

Wow!!! The time I experienced at Promise Keepers 2008 was awesome. All of the speakers were great and the messages struck a cord within your heart. Thanks to Bishop Eddie Long and his church New Birth in Lithonia, GA for welcoming us to their worship center.

On Sunday we attended World Changers Church International with Pastor Crefflo Dollar in College Park, GA. From the hour of prayer to the hour of praise and worship up to the message that Pastor Dollar brought, the spirit was really moving in the dome.

15 men had the chance to have life changing opportunities this past weekend and now are trained soldiers of the cross.
